É a forma de representação mais abstrata utilizada para descrever os processos de negócio.
Cada "caixinha" neste nível representa o agrupamento de vários Processos Principais de
segundo nível. O Nível 1 funciona como uma "máscara" interligando os diversos processos e
servindo como ponto único de partida para a navegação.
Existem 3 (três) categorias claramente definidas:
- Processos Principais estão mais ao centro (próximo ao Cliente): São eles os responsáveis em
gerar valor.
- Processos Auxiliares: Camada intermediária responsável em suportar os Processos
Principais.
- Processos Gerenciais: Camada mais externa responsável em definir as diretrizes do negócio.

fornecer detalhes suficientes para documentar tarefas do dia-a-dia de forma que possam ser
repetidas com sucesso ou executadas por uma pessoa que não esteja familiarizada com as
mesmas.
Diferentemente dos Níveis 1 e 2, um diagrama de Nível 3 contém operadores lógicos
representando os pontos de decisão ao longo do processo, bem como a relação entre atividade
e reponsável (SKB).

Convenções de Modelagem e Nomenclatura
35. Recomendações para nomenclatura dos objetos
Evite abreviações. Exceto se forem de uso comum.
Processos e Atividades devem iniciar com verbo no infinitivo. (Ex: Definir, Imprimir, Gerar,
Elaborar)
Nunca comece ou termine um processo com “Início” ou “Fim”. Evitar colocar apenas um
número ou letra. Um bom exemplo para identificar eventos é: Fatura emitida, Documento
X criado, Solicitação de remessa recebida, etc.
Use descrições curtas, concisas e que sejam entendíveis por uma pessoa que não esteja
familiarizada com o processo.
Use sempre letras minúsculas para denominar os objetos. Exceto para nome de Processos
e Atividades que podem iniciar com letra maiúscula.
Atenção com o layout
Processos muito longos devem ser quebrados em processos menores para facilitar o
entendimento e a publicação.
Objetos do mesmo tipo deverão, sempre que possível, ter o mesmo tamanho.
Detalhes associados ao procedimento deverão ser adicionados via documentação
complementar.
