This book discusses sustainability in public administration, its legal and administrative bases, showing the new scenario of socio-environmental public management that seeks to insert the socio-environmental variable into the daily activities of public bodies and reduce their environmental impact. It is divided into two parts, the first dealing with the thematic axes of the Environmental Agenda in Public Administration (A3P) program: rational use of waste, quality of life at work and environmental education. The second part brings different experiences in the field of environmental management with a focus on management standards.
