The visceral endopelvic fascia through formation of visceral capsules and condensations of areolar tissue and the perivascular sheaths form a framework within which the pelvic viscera are suspended. This framework in turn is attached to the pelvic parietal fascia thereby mooring the viscera to the walls within the pelvis. This support has been divided conceptually into three levels by John Delancy.
Regarding the posterior vaginal wall prolapses, we can mesh the defect and create a neo sacro uterine ligament.
