4. Nasceu a 495 a.C. em Atenas.
Este é o único busto
que nos ficou de
Péricles, esculpido
pouco depois da sua
morte.
(a lei ateniense proibia
tais honrarias aos
políticos ainda vivos.)
O busto lembra a sua
condição de chefe
militar através do elmo
que, no entanto, a sua
função era de disfarçar
o seu crânio disforme.
9. Era filho do político Xantipo, vencedor na
luta contra os persas, e de Agarista, que
pertencia à nobre, influente e poderosa
família dos Alcmeônidas.
10. Péricles era uma criança muito
introvertida, evitava aparições
públicas, preferindo dedicar seu
tempo aos estudos. Devido à
nobreza e riqueza de sua família
foi lhe permitido dar sequência a
esta sua inclinação para a
educação.
15. Fortaleceu a democracia e foi um dos
responsáveis pelo crescimento económico,
político e militar da cidade.
16. Péricles
transformou a
Liga de Delos num
verdadeiro
império
ateniense, e
liderou seus
compatriotas
durante os dois
primeiros anos da
Guerra do
Peloponeso.
17. Péricles promoveu as artes e a literatura,
num período em que Atenas tinha a
reputação de ser o centro educacional e
cultural do mundo da Grécia Antiga.
18. Construiu muralhas de proteção da cidade,
transformando Atenas em uma cidade
armada, para garantir a privilegiada posição
geográfica, política e económica.

Do you have a main point? Consider putting just one word on the slide by itself. Want them to remember a few items? Don’t show everything at once. Instead, show one item at a time. Have a picture that expresses your idea? Scale that picture so that it fills the slide. Have a quote that says it all? Let it say it and remove everything else.
So there are the rules.
And a thought-provoking video moves your audience in a way that can change not only minds, but hearts.
