As I am sure you have seen we have recently acquired “Tutor Vista” in Bangalore. Traditionally Pearson is a company which has grown through acquisition & hard work There has been phenomenal growth in the last 8 years - Pearson is today the largest education company in the world and over 70% of Pearson’s revenue comes from education This slides illustrates just the last 8 years and some of the companies that have become part of the Pearson group - most of them strong brands in their own rights
The Pearson Foundation is the nonprofit arm of Pearson, the international media company It works with leading nonprofit, civic, and business organizations to provide financial, organizational, and publishing assistance worldwide. We do this by collaborating with leading businesses, not-for-profits, and education experts to share good practice; foster innovation; and find workable solutions to the educational disadvantages facing millions of young people and adults across the globe. Above are just a handfull of the projects we have been and still are involved in.
