A história nas tardes culturais
The cultural history in the afternoons
desenho, música e pintura (tela, pano e decupage)
relinha e queimada. Novamente, as crianças e os ado-
lescentes são chamados a participar. À noite, é a vez
Estadual Rui Barbosa realizou o I Festival Cultural, em
maio de 2012. O festival homenageou escritores para-
naenses como Helena Colody, Adélia Maria Woellner,
Marcos Prado, Domingos Pellegrini e João Batista
300 pessoas.
O aniversário do município (18 de dezembro) que
recebeu, em 1960, imigrantes holandeses, expressa
a alegria do povo.
tradicional rodeio.
t is in the old train station that the ‘city of flowery
fields’ houses the House of Culture Memorial
Capão Bonito. The space promotes the work of
artists from across the region, as well as the residents
who attend the courses in drawing, painting and music
(canvas, cloth and decupage) that the city offers.
It is also that part of the Memorial Arapoti story
is told through parts of the old Railway Station and
Cachoeirinha furniture and objects from City Hall and
the first residences in the city.
In the House, are prepared schedules of the most
important events of Arapoti as the Cultural Afternoons.
Once in the month, children are attracted to Dona Luiza
Square Possatto Amancio, where they participate in
plays, dances and jokes.
In August Folk Cultural Evening happens, with the
aim of rescuing games like hopscotch and burned.
Again, children and teens are invited to participate. At
night, it’s time for adults attend presentations of stories
and folk groups from different places of the country.
The Patron Saint John the Baptist is celebrated
on June 24, when Arapoti wins national prominence.
Hundreds of tourists are attracted to the four-day fes-
tival.
The cultural events are visibly present in everyday
arapotienses. The State College Rui Barbosa I realized
the Cultural Festival in May 2012. The festival honored
writers paranaenses as Helena Colody, Adelia Maria
Woellner, Marcos Prado, Domingos Alves Batista and
John Pellegrini, arapotiense writer who died in 2012.
In the second half of each year is the Festival of
Bands. Around 15 local bands perform for an audience
of approximately 300 people.
The municipality birthday (December 18) that recei-
ved, in 1960, Dutch immigrants, expresses the joy of the
people. In the four days of celebration, residents receive
visitors, who enjoy the traditional rodeo.

Um parque para os holandeses
A park for the Dutch
onsiderada a primeira colônia holandesa no
Brasil, Carambeí ganhou um parque para eter-
nizar a saga dos imigrantes holandeses. O
famílias holandesas no município.
imigrantes. Um segundo Museu do Trator está nesse
setor. Na Vila Histórica estão o Museu das Borboletas,
a Estação de Trem, Chácara Holandesa, Igreja, Casa
de Imigração de Carambeí, Museu da Presença
Holandesa no Brasil, Museu do Leite, Matadouro,
Escola, Marcenaria e Ferraria, Museu da Madeira e
o Monumento de Comemoração do Centenário da
Imigração Holandesa nos Campos Gerais.
O projeto Centro Cultural Amsterdam compõe a
ala três. O centro reproduz um quarteirão do muni-
cípio. A ala quatro abriga o Parque de Exposições. A
artesanato e gastronômica e oficinas (biscuit, pintura
em MDF, patchwork, decupagem em telha, pintura
em tecido, bijuteria e cestaria). As atividades são dire-
cionadas a toda a população.
disputam a premiação.
A Secretaria de Cultura mantém o projeto de
dança folclórica nas escolas municipais para incenti-
var a tradição dos imigrantes italianos, portugueses,
poloneses, holandeses e gaúchos.
onsidered the first Dutch colony in Brazil, it has

of Dutch immigrants. The Historical Park was
opened in 2011, in the 100th anniversary of immigration
in Brazil.
The park is divided into five wards. The first are: the
Memory House, the Museum of the tractor and a bridge
from the Netherlands. The house was built in 1946 and
contains items used by early Dutch families in the county.
In ward two, there is the Historic Village, where
there is a full-size mockup of the first buildings of the
Carambeí village, formed by immigrants. A second trac-
tor museum is in this sector. In Historic Village there are
the Butterfly Museum, the Railway Station, Dutch Ranch
, Church House Immigration of Carambeí, Museum of
DutchpresenceinBrazil,useumofMilk,Slaughterhouse,

The Amsterdam Cultural Center project is part of the
ward three. The center plays a quarter of the city. The
four ward houses the Exhibition Park. The area is used
for rural fairs and events.
The ward five will be built and will feature the Water
Park, to portray the main Dutch technologies and solu-
tions in the water flows control.
Since 2004, Carambeí has received the Cultural
Week. Actions involve the Festival of Choirs; Dance
Festival, Festival of Viola; Hip-Hop Festival, Saturday
Festival and crafts and culinary workshops (biscuit,
MDF painting, patchwork, decoupage on tile, fabric
painting, jewelry and basketry). The activities are aimed
at the whole population.
The program also includes the Carambeí Citzen
Music Festival (Festicam), which has its seventh edition
in 2012. Local singers enroll and compete for awards.

Sete anos de oficinas culturais
Seven years of cultural workshops
esde 2005, crianças e jovens participam das
oficinas culturais realizadas pelo município.
As aulas acontecem no contraturno escolar.
anos, a Cia SuperAção. O grupo é formado por dan-
çarinos cadeirantes. A ideia é proporcionar uma vida
social ativa para as crianças.
OutroprojetodedestaqueéoFestivalMulticultural
Pé de Moleque. A programação inclui exposições e
espetáculos para promover o intercâmbio profissio-
nal e aprendiz. O Festival é encerrado com a grande
festa junina.
melhores obras.
ince 2005, children and youth have participated
in cultural workshops conducted by the county.
Classes are held after school. One can learn arts,
crafts, circus, theater, dance, guitar, ballet, rhythmic
gymnastics and computer. For adults, computer science,
dance and guitar lessons are offered.
Through the project ‘Dance Castro” the project
SuperAção Cia started seven years ago. The group con-
sists of wheelchair dancers. The idea is to provide an
active social life for disabled children.
Another important project is the “Pé de Moleque”
Multicultural Festival . The program includes exhibitions
and performances to promote professional exchange
and apprentice. The Festival closes with the big Harvest
party when schools are invited to enter a contest.
To better tell the story of the city, the council main-
tains the project Guided Visit on the Museum in Sinhara
House and Square House. The first one has some pieces
that belonged to the first inhabitants, the second depicts
the life of the drover’s wife and the third receives the
exhibition, including the work of the Student Visual Art
Contest. Divided into three categories (1st to 5th grade
of elementary school, 6th to 9th grade and high school),
students exhibit their creations and the school commu-
nity chooses the 10 best works. The winners are exposed
in House Square, which promotes a curator and choose
the best design to be published on posters, invitations,
and other promotional materials in the Popular Salon
of Visual Arts in Castro.
The show brings together works by artists from
the cities of Campos Gerais that are on display and
compete for awards. The award is given on the Day of
Castro, which takes place in September each year. It
also happens that on that date the ‘Spotlighted Castro
Citzen”. The council chooses three people who lived in
Castro and stood out in other cities. Those are invited
to spend a few days in Castro and visit their friends and
family.

preparação começa logo nos primeiros meses,
mas é em dezembro que Guamiranga reali-
za a Noite Cultural. Estudantes de todas as
escolas do município apresentam danças e músicas.
promover a arte e a cultura.
A festa,
incentivando o companheirismo e a cooperação.
Boa Vista. As grutas que foram utilizadas pelos jesuí-
tas também integram o cartão postal.
reparation begins in the first few months, but in
December Guamiranga performs the Cultural
Night. Students from all schools in the county
performance dances and songs. The fanfare integrates
presentations that take place in the gym. The intention
of teachers when prepare e students for the event is is
promote art and culture.
The community is also ready to participate in the
fanfare. There are 72 members, aged 11 to 18 years old,
who performance not only in the festivities in town , but
at different places. Several regional and state trophies
have been e won over the last 10 years since its foun-
dation.
To encourage the habit of reading the Municipal
Culture Department has a library that offers the telecen-
tre (space with Internet access). The entire population
can use the site for research and studies.
The city celebrates the Feast of Farmers in July, at
the Events Center. Three days of festivities with cham-
pionships, music contest, choosing of the queen and cul-
tural tasks turned to the agriculture people. Producers
participate in various tests ( in basket ball, ball in the
can, etc), as well as tractor and horse racing . The festival
is in its 11th edition in 2012, aims to increase participa-
tion and improve integration between producers’ asso-
ciations as well as with the City Council for Sustainable
Rural Development, encouraging fellowship and coo-
peration.
Guamiranga received the first residents in mid-1860.
Poles, Italians and Germans arrived between 1890 and
1910. The city attracts visitors due to natural attractions
such as Salto Boco, Salto Grande and the Rio dos Patos
Salto New Boa Vista. The caves that were used by the
Jesuits also integrate the postcard.

Filme e animação na praça
Film and entertainment in the square
Cine Tela Brasil, projeto cultural da CCR
Rodonorte, voltou a Imbaú em 2012. Assim
A Festa do Padroeiro (São José) acontece no
segundo domingo de maio, na área urbana. Apesar
A programação do evento
é responsável pela atração dos visitantes. Quando o
município realiza rodeio country e bailes, o público
atraído é maior. Nesta data, acontece o tradicional
e privadas.
A comemoração vai além. Nos últimos anos, a
administração municipal vem confeccionando um
bolo gigante. A cada aniversário, um metro é acres-
centado. Em 2012, são 16 metros de bolo. Tudo é
distribuído para a população.
he Screen Cinema Brazil, the cultural project of
the CCR Rodonorte, returned to Imbaú again in
2012. As in 2006, the structure (tent) was set in
the public square. Free movies were shown , like ‘ Me
and my umbrella’ the animation ‘Rio’, starring by Blu,
the world’s most famous macaw. Adults and children
participated in the sessions that took place in August. In
2007, the city received the theater play Gigantes do Ar
(Air Giants play), celebrating 10 years of the company.
The culture of the people is also portrayed in the
field. To celebrate the Day of the Colonist, residents
participate in July of each year, the Feast of the Colonist.
The event takes place in alternate locations. In 2010 and
2011, it took pale at the headquarters of the settlement
Guanabara. Previously, it happened in the district of
Baixo Charqueado .
The horse back riding is another moment expec-
ted by the population. There are two or three editions
per year. The proposal to this event is to promote the
gathering of people connected to the Center of Gaucho
Traditions (CTG) of the city. The day is marked by viola
music show, country matinee, and the barbecue, typical
gaucho (Rio Grande do Sul habitants) food.
The Feast of the Patron (San Jose) takes place on
the second Sunday of May, in the urban area. Although
St. Joseph is celebrated by the Catholic Church in March,
Imbaú celebrates it later and manages to get together
the residents from micro region. The traditional raffle of
a car is responsible for the a big number of participants.
The population celebrates on 8 December, the anni-
versary of the city. The event program is responsible for
the attraction of visitors. When the city performs rodeo
and country dances, the audience is larger. On this date,
the traditional civic parade takes place with the partici-
pation of public and private schools.

Uma casa para a cultura
A house for culture
conhecidos atualmente.
141 anos do município. No parque ambiental, o even-
to recebeu o Festival de Música Sertaneja.
Shows com duplas sertane-
Moto Clube. No parque ambiental, o encontro rece-
be motoqueiros de todos os estados brasileiros. A
programação engloba exposição de motos e carros
antigos.
t is in the House of Culture that teenagers, aged
10 and 15, learn about theater and painting on
canvas. The project began in 2007 and moved to
this area in July 2011. Until then the classes took place in
the Department of Education.
Althoughthecitydoesnothaveamovie andtheater,
Sesi institution promotes shows. In June 2012, the Train
Trio was on the show. It promotes the dissemination of
musical genres that are not very known today. The cul-
tural circuit is open to the population, in 2011, there was
the presentation of Paraná Symphony Orchestra. The
event was provided by a private companythat received
support from the Social Service of Industry (SESI).
It is in May that the locals celebrate the town anni-
versary. For the second year, in 2012, the Pork feast
integrated the programming of 141 years of the city.
In environmental park, the event received the Country
Music Festival. Musicians from across the region parti-
cipated and the top four places were awarded. Shows
with country singers are also a big success.
On June 13 the party in honor of the patron St.
Anthony takes place, at the main Church. The celebra-
tion lasts only one day, but it’s enough to move the
entire population.
The Ministry of Culture also supports the realization
of the 2nd Imbituva Moto Fest, sponsored by the Moto
Club Imbil. The environmental park, receives bikers from
all Brazilian states. The program includes exhibition of
motorcycles and old cars.
Some families of Germans, Poles, Russians and
Italians, who live in the city, keep habits and costumes,
mainly in terms of gastronomy.
Imbil is nationally known as a textile industrial cen-
ter. About 50 knitting shops put on the market knitting
thousands of garments.

realizado pelas escolas municipais.
2012 e envolve as secretarias e conselhos municipais
A programação incluiu

Ivan Kupalo (ucraniano), Chiaro di Luna (italiano) e XV
vem a dança. É no Centro Cultural Clube do Comércio
desde 1988, é o maior rodeio crioulo do Paraná.

mes e festas polonesas.
Universidade Estadual do Centro-Oeste (Unicentro) e

A center for events
junto acontece a Mostra Agropecuária e Industrial,
É o espaço onde as
as atividades econômicas e culturais.
Ivaí é casa de artistas plásticos locais. As pinturas
ounded 51 years ago, Ivaí has held for more than
a decade an annual event turned to farmers.
Gathered in 15 associations, they organize the
Festival of Farmers Associations. In 2012, the 11th edi-
tion attracted an audience of approximately 40,000
people. There are four days dedicated to the customs
and traditions, as well as learning new technologies in
the field, as it happens at the same time of Agricultural
and Industrial Show, which is 10 years of existence.
The festival, takes place at the Events Center, and
offers attractions for people of all ages, including the
Queen constest. It is the space where families meet and
exhibitors offer their wares, from handicrafts to agricul-
tural machinery. The rodeo and concerts with artists of
national reputation are also part of the schedule.
The residents (many families are descendants of
Polish, German and Dutch) are actively involved in two
other parties of a religious nature: Criso Rei, and the the
patron Sacred Heart of Jesus.
During the year, the council works on the arrange-
ments for the festivities as well as other cultural projects.
Recently, the ballet course has ended, aimed at students
from the local school and state school.
The craft stands out by the quality of work. As Ivaí
has most of the population in the rural area, the Paraná
Institute of Technical Assistance and Rural Extension
(Emater) actively supports the economic and cultural
activities.
Ivaí is home to local artists. The paintings on display
can be seen in the gyms, schools and even churches.
Art is also encouraged in town by the Association of
Campos Gerais
Cities (AMCG), through its Department of Culture. In
2009, the 1st Itinerant Exhibition of Artists of Campos
Gerais happened in Ivaí.

realizou em 2012 a 1ª Conferência Municipal
de Cultura. O município quer planejar as ações
Francisco Matarazzo; o Espaço Cultural Maria Timm
mora a emancipação do município. No Festival, ocor-
rem apresentações artísticas, como música e danças.
Outro projeto cultural é Ação Educativa no Museu.
o baile realizado anualmente.
Os moradores participam, ainda, do projeto Cine
Tela Brasil, da CCR Rodonorte. O cinema itinerante
passou pelo município nos anos de 2006, 2009 e
2011. Uma estrutura (tenda) foi montada em praça
pública para apresentação gratuita de filmes nacio-
nais e inéditos.
No meio rural acontece, no último domingo de
maio, a Caminhada em homenagem à Santa do
Paredão.
