5 plants, two distribution centers and headquarter. Involving administration suppliers.
• Led indirect centralized purchasing process, for the categories of Facility and MRO (Maintenance, Repair and
Operations) for the Mexican subsidiary of Henkel. I generated a savings about 20% in annual purchases of
these categories and eliminated risk of fraud.
4. • I conducted renegotiation of payment terms with suppliers of indirect materials and services, because of
implementation of a new global policy of the company. Achieved success in this renegotiation, generating an
annual financial gains of $ 1 million USD.
• I Introduced the first electronic tender process of Facility Management for Latin America, consequence of the
implementation of Global Shared Services. I automatized a process, resolving conflicts among the
manufacturing, finance and purchasing areas.
• implemented an MRO provider in site at the main adhesives factory of Henkel in Mexico, which generated
benefits in speed, quality and costs. This was the first vendor implementation in site in Latin America, serving
as a model for other subsidiaries of the region.
