Taís Ferreira is a Cultural Educator in Residence from Brazil. She has authored several books on using performing arts like theatre and dance in primary and secondary education. Her first book studied how primary school children relate to performances and used school as a way to facilitate this relationship. Her second book provided primary teachers with activities and projects to incorporate theatre and dance in their classrooms. Her third book was for teachers of different subjects and focused on the history and theory of performing arts, along with practical examples of using them with teenagers. She also wrote a children's book featuring nicknames of her child.

searches to understand the

the school as a mediation for it.

This book was written for primary
teachers and intends to propose
them activities, didactical
sequences and projects in theatre

trough practical and creative
experiences.

4. ‘’Performing Arts – Theory
and Practice in the
Secondary Education”

This book is for different areas’
teachers who want to develop
performing arts subjects in their
classes. The main focus is the
history and theory of performing
arts and its interdisciplinary
potentialities. The book’s second
part is about practical experiences
on this theme with teenagers
students at a Brazilian public school.

5. “Tati, Tatá, Tís, Tisoca’s
Short Tales”

This is a children’s book and Tati,
Tatá, Tís and Tisoca were my child’s
nicknames.
