1. Guns N' Roses é uma banda de hard rock norte-americana
formada em Los Angeles, Califórnia em
1985. A banda, liderada pelo vocalista e co-fundador
Axl Rose, passou por várias mudanças
de formação e controvérsias desde a sua criação
A história do Guns N' Roses começa nos meados
de 1985 quando o vocalista Axl Rose funde as
bandas de qual participava para montar uma nova
banda com seu amigo de infância Izzy Stradlin.

2. A banda antes formada pela dupla se chamava
Rose, que logo é renomeada para Hollywood
Rose. Contava com W. Axl Rose (vocais), Izzy
Stradlin (guitarra), Markws Gosbon (guitarra),
Rick Holland (baixo) e Johnny Kreiss (bateria). A
nova banda consegue algum destaque nos
subúrbios de Los Angeles

3. seriam tocadas pelo Guns N' Roses) como "My Way,
Your Way" (Anything Goes), "Wreckless" (Reckless
Life) e "Shadow Of Your Love". O último show do
Hollywood Rose aconteceu na virada do ano de
1984/1985. Após isso a banda se dissolveu.

4. Assim, ao início de 1985, os ex-membros do
Hollywood Rose, Axl Rose e Izzy Stradlin (Guitarra
Base), se juntam a três ex-membros de outra banda
recém dissolvida: Tracii Guns (Guitarra Solo), Ole
Beich (Baixo) e Robbie Gardner (Bateria) da banda
L.A. Guns.

5. Com a junção dos membros e dos nomes das duas
bandas, surge o Guns n' Roses. Essa formação porém
se apresentou apenas uma única vez, em março de
1985. Após esse show, Ole Beich foi substituído por
Duff McKagan.

6. Com essa formação (Axl, Tracii, Izzy Stradlin, Duff e
Robbie), a banda fez mais alguns shows até a metade
de 1985, quando a banda sofreu novas alterações:
Tracii Guns e Robbie Gardner saíram da banda. Duff
McKagan convidou seus antigos parceiros de Road
Crew, o guitarrista Slash e o baterista Steven Adler para
seus lugares. Nascia assim a formação mais conhecida
da banda Guns N' Roses.

7. A banda já vendeu mais de 100 milhões de
cópias em todo o mundo,sendo cerca de 43
milhões somente nos Estados Unidos.
8 O seu álbum de estréia em 1987, Appetite for
Destruction vendeu cerca de 40 milhões de
cópias no mundo todo, 23 milhões apenas nos
Estados Unidos, sendo certificado 23 vezes
platina pela RIAA (Associação da Indústria de
Gravação da América) e também o album
Appetite for Destruction é considerado um dos
álbuns mais importantes para a hístoria do hard
rock mundial.

8. Suas canções de maior sucesso são "Welcome to the
Jungle", "Paradise City", "Don't Cry", "Sweet Child O'
Mine", "Patience", "November Rain" que alcançaram o
top 10 da Billboard. Sendo seu maior sucesso a musica
Sweet Child O' Mine.
