In downfallen economic and financial situation with a scenario where the lack of resources remains as a problem, Portugal clearly shows a challenge to manage and administer its estate, and at the same time, comply with the limitations imposed by Troika. This curricular project aims to demonstrate the viability of a public project, including the implementation of a technology worthily competitive, based on financial indicators, which should achieve positive results, enough to become a self-sustainable investment. The object of study was the Casa-Museu Teixeira Lopes, who under guardianship of Gaianima Municipal Equipment, E. E. M., gets legal, administrative and financial restrictions, that can’t be violated, thus posing a major challenge to this project. It is intended by this study prove that it is possible to invest in public projects, and achieve positive financial return, without compromising the basic principles of public administration. As can be seen in the outcome of this work, the project is characterized as viable and implementable by the indicators used show positive results.
