Projeto Intervoip - Objetivos
Desenvolver um sistema utilizando a tecnologia DNS-ENUM visando:
- Promover a interconexão multilateral das redes ("ilhas") VoIP, permitindo
que chamadas entre usuários VoIP de redes diferentes sejam realizadas totalmente no
ambiente IP, ao invés de serem direcionadas via rede tradicional STFC (PSTN).
- Ampliar a possibilidade de utilização do serviço VoIP entre usuários de
diferentes redes VoIP.
- Contribuir para a redução do custo das chamadas, eliminando o custo de
uso da STFC no caso de chamadas puramente VoIP(origem e destino).
- Inserir o Brasil no contexto de utilização do protocolo ENUM como solução
emergente de interconexão.
