According to the United Nations Commission on Human Rights-
UNCRC, parents have the right, duty and responsibility to raise their
children.
The UNCRC also obliges governments to support you in executing
these – with institutions, financial support, training, etc.
When registering your child in school, the responsibility for their
education stays with you, the parent, so you have a right and duty to
review and influence what is happening in the school
All European governments signed the UNCRC and thus subscribed to
protecting the best interest of all children
The rights of children are universal and they do not depend on any
duties
The rights of parents and children alike are only restricted by one
border: they should never violate the right of another
