 Project Title : Advanced Service and Processing System (ASAP)
 Period : Sep 2012 – Till Date
 Role : Senior Software Engineer.
Project Synopsis : ASAP is a major system network, providing direct communication links
between all areas of Merrill Lynch. It acts as an "intelligent highway," interfacing with many
"subsystems" to route requests to their destination.
Most client requests are initiated by the Branch Office, however, the Home Office
Associate has the capability to enter certain (but not all) types of requests. ASAP routes these
requests systematically to either a system for automated processing or directly to a Home Office
location for physical processing.
Each type of client request requires certain data to be provided. To capture the needed
data at the Branch Office, ASAP acts as a "front end" for many other systems designed to
process many types of account maintenance requests. Although it appears to users that they are
using ASAP to process the request, ASAP really "feeds the information" to another system that
specifically handles the requested processing. ASAP recognizes which system to "feed" when
the user enters a specific request.

Project Synopsis : Aries CTD aims to enhance trade capture and execution for both
commodities sales and traders by providing a common trade blotter with straight-through
processing from pre-trade pricing to final trade booking.
Due to the diversity and physicality of the commodities business, two best of breed
vendor trading systems, OpenLink Endur & Solarc, along with one proprietary trading system,
TIGER, are used to form the foundation of the commodities trading platform. AriesCTD helps
provide the glue between these three disparate systems while providing both sales and traders a
common user experience irrespective of the commodity being traded.(Markets: US Financial
Gas, US Financial & Physical Power, European Financial Dry Freight & Coal, European
Financial & Physical Gas, and Global Financial Crude, US Physical Gas, US Financial Coal,
Precious Metals, Base Metals, European Financial Emissions, and European Financial &
