The document describes the design and construction of mobile scenic flats called periaktoi to easily change backgrounds for elementary school performances both in classrooms and on stage. Plywood flats were cut and assembled into triangular revolving units sized to fit through doors. Fabric backdrops were then sewn with velcro edges to attach to the periaktoi faces. Additional styrofoam cubes were also refurbished and supplied to create sets using the periaktoi and cubes, such as for a production of Alice in Wonderland.
