1. Aceitação
O início da transformação
Acceptance
The beginning of transformation
Ana Cristina Pereira
2. A primeira impressão que temos
quando ouvimos ou pensamos em
aceitar, seja uma pessoa, um fato ou
uma circunstância é de que
estaremos nos submetendo ou nos
subjugando, desistindo de lutar,
sendo fracos.
The first impression we have
when we hear or think of
accepting either a person, a fact
or a circumstance is that we will
be subjecting or subjugating
ourselves, giving up the fight,
being weak.
In fact, if we want to change any aspect of our lives and
ourselves, we must begin by accepting them.
Acceptance is the beholder of a transforming power that only
those who have experienced it can evaluate it.
5. É difícil aceitar uma perda
material ou afetiva;
uma dificuldade financeira;
uma doença;
uma humilhação;
uma traição.
It is difficult to accept
a material or affective loss;
a financial hardship;
a disease;
humiliation;
a betrayal.
But acceptance is an act of inner strength,
wisdom and humility, because there are
countless situations that are not under our
control.
7. As pessoas são como são, dificilmente
mudam.
Não podemos contar com isso. A única
pessoa que podemos mudar, somos nós
mesmos, portanto, se não houver aceitação,
o que estaremos fazendo é insensato, é
insano.
People are as they are, they hardly
change.
We can not count on their change.
We can only change ourselves,
so if there is no acceptance, what
we are doing is foolish, is insane.
8. Ser resistente, brigar, revoltar-se, negar, deprimir,
desesperar, indignar-se, culpar, culpar-se são reações
emocionais carregadas de raiva. Raiva do outro, raiva de
si mesmo, raiva da vida. E a raiva destrói, desagrega.
To be tough, to fight, to rebel, to deny, to
depress, to despair, to be offended, to blame, to
blame yourself are emotional reactions full of
anger. Anger towards others, anger towards
yourself, anger towards life. And anger destroys,
it disaggregates.
somos condicionados a lutar, a esbravejar, a brigar.
Acceptance is a strength that we do not know because
we are conditioned to fight, to vociferate, to argue.
10. Aceitar não é desistir, nem tão
pouco resignar-se. Aceitar é
estar lúcido do momento
presente e se assim a vida se
apresenta, assim deve ser.
Tudo está coordenado pela Lei
da ação e reação.
Accepting is not giving up,
nor to surrender. To accept
is to be lucid of the present
moment thus if life is
presented as such, as such
it should be. Everything is
coordinated by the Law of
action and reaction.
11. No instante em que aceitamos,
desmaterializamos situações
que foram criadas por nós,
soluções surgem naturalmente
através da intuição ou fatos
trazem as respostas e as saídas
para o problema.
The moment we accept, we
dematerialize situations
that were created by us,
solutions arise naturally
through intuition or facts
bring the answers and
solutions to the problem.
12. Tudo é movimento. Nada é permanente.
A nossa tendência “natural” é resistir, não
aceitar, combater tudo o que nos contraria
e o que nos gera sofrimento. Dessa forma
prolongamos a situação. Resistir só nos
mantém presos dentro da situação
desconfortável, muitas vezes perpetuando
e tornando tudo mais complicado e pesado.
Everything is movement.
Nothing is permanent.
Our "natural" tendency is to resist, is to
refuse, to fight everything that contests us
and that leads to suffering. This way we
prolong the situation. Resistance only
keeps us stuck in the uncomfortable
situation, often perpetuating and making
things more cumbersome and complicated.
complicated
When we do not accept we become bitter, angry, frustrated,
unsatisfied, full of anger and sadness, and these mental and
emotional patterns create more difficulties, they never bring a
solution.
14. Aceitar é expandir a consciência e encontrar respostas,
soluções, alívio. Aceitar é o que nos leva à Fé.
To accept is to expand awareness and find answers,
solutions, relief. Acceptance is what leads us to Faith.
15. É fundamental entender que aceitar
não significa desistir e seguir
adiante com otimismo.
Ter muitos propósitos a serem
atingidos é nossa atitude saudável
diante da vida.
It is important to understand that
acceptance does not mean to give
up but to move forward with
optimism. Having many goals to
be achieved is our healthy attitude
before life.
16. Aceitar se refere ao momento
presente, ao agora.
No instante que você aceita,
você se entrega ao que a vida
quer-lhe oferecer. Novas
idéias surgem para prosseguir
na direção desejada, saindo do
sofrimento.
To accept refers to the
present moment, to now.
The moment you accept,
you surrender to what life
wants to offer you. New
ideas emerge so we proceed
in the desired direction,
leaving suffering behind.
