Skys the limit double page spread
1. Double Page Spread
The layout of the page is rule of three. The text
is on the left then the main image and then text
on the right. The article is very clear as to what
the message is. The main title being “the sky's
the limit” gives it away. The article is saying that
with there being so many artists and producers
there are so many more songs, and so much
more choice to pick from. So the purpose of the
article is to inform the reader about the
upcoming artists.
The title of the article is very catchy. “sky's the
limit” this suggests that there is more to come
and that the sky is only the limit. It is a play on
words and reinforces what the article is
portraying.
The main image is of several music artists. They
are very well known. Everyone is looking
directly at the camera which makes the reader
feel as if they are involved. In addition the
image is centred which makes the artist stand
out and look more important than the text.
Overall the double page spread as a whole is
very vibrant with lots of colour and very
crowded. You are sort of bombarded with
colour, text and image.
