Twelve lucky guests will be presented with a three-course meal prepared by Chef Chip
Roman of Blackfish and MICA restaurants. The menu will be specially designed, while the
guests will be able to mingle with the likes of George Perrier - proceeds of the event will go
toward the American Liver Foundation.
George Perrier's career in Philadelphia dates back to 1970 when he first opened Le Bec Fin
at the ripe age of 23. He quickly established the restaurant as one of the country's leading 5
star restaurants. Perrier is often referred to as the figure that revitalized the Philadelphia
restaurant industry.
Chip Roman trained under Perrier for 5 years, working his way up to Sous Chef and Saucier
by the end of his tenure at Le Bec Fin. He has been featured in a multitude of Philadelphia
publications including the Inquirer, Philadelphia Magazine, and more. He is now the owner
of Blackfish and MICA. Blackfish is a top rated restaurant on an annual basis. His expertise
will be on display to the guests at the ALF event, and Eventricity will be designing Chef
Roman's pod with orchids while highlighting the classic clean lines of Blackfish Restaurant.
Eventricity founder, Phyllis Jablonoski, CSEP, expressed her excitement, "The event
culminates 20 years of décor and design experience. There is no greater honor than being
chosen to style an event that not only celebrates the career of George Perrier, but raises
money for an important cause".
