zhè and nà are the most commonly used demonstrative
pronouns in Chinese.
Nà shì shénme? (What is that?)
Zhè shì shénme? (What is this?)

那是一本什么书?
那是一本英文书。
Běn is a measure word. In Chinese, the number must be
combined with a measure word to say how many of something
there are.
Numeral + Measure word + Noun
Yì + běn + yīngwén shū

(What do you study?)
wǒ xué yīnggúo wénxúe, nǐ ne?

不太难. (Not tool difficult.)
zhōngwén nán ma? (Is Chinese difficult?)
中文难吗?
