7.  The education system in Pakistan is generally
divided into five levels
 Primary (grades one through five)
 Middle (grades six through eight)
 High (grades nine and ten, leading to the
Secondary School Certificate)

8.  Intermediate (grades eleven and twelve,
leading to a Higher Secondary School
Certificate)
 University programs leads to graduation, post
graduation and advanced studies like PhD.

10.  At the time of independence Pakistan had
only one University, which was Punjab

Universities of which 73 are public and 59 are
private
