PROJECT
Microstructural Analysis of Welded Aluminium A6063 Material by Friction Stir Welding ( Sept'15)
• In this study, the applicability of friction stir welding for Aluminium A6063 plate was
investigated.
• The joint performance values was determined by using Metallurgical microscope .
• The effects of the tool rotational speed (i.e., Eg : 800,1100 and 1300 rev/min) and the welding
speed on the joint performance values was determined.
• Tensile test values for specimens which are welded at different feeds and speeds were obtained.
ACHIEVEMENTS
• Participated and won the first place in the National Karate Championship held at Chennai.
• Participated and won the first place in the Under-17 Cricket competition held at Chennai.
• Participated in the event Auto Quiz - Tier 2 conducted by SAE INDIA at SRM University.
