3. Little things about this sport Gymnastics is one of the most difficult sports in the world, for this sport you need to be fit and healthy and you need to train lots and lots. Boys and girls can participate in this sport but, like football, its boys against boys and girls against girls.

4. Girls and boys in the sport Girls do 4 different pieces Boys do 6 different pieces Boys do 2 extra to show their ability, girls do 2 less because they don’t have to show as much. The pieces aren’t the same either

5. Girls in the sport Girls do beam, floor, vault and bars; each of them show a different type of skill

6. VAULT Vault shows a skill of power. There are many different skills that you can do on this piece though they are very difficult . The vault even has to have a spring board or it would be impossible.

7. THE BARS The bars are really called uneven bars because one bar is higher than the other. This piece shows a skill of strength. For protection we use hand guards which protects the palm of the hand.

8. BEAM Beam is the most scary and dreaded piece for all gymnasts, it’s a skinny long pole ,this piece requires balance and skill.

9. FLOOR EXERCISE The floor is what I think is your time to shine. This piece is the most enjoyable to a lot of gymnasts in the world, this piece consists of skill and dance. You have a little one minute dance or so and you do a little bit of dance and floor tumbles.
