1. Essay on Website Design
Facebook, Myspace, Yahoo, Google, and Twitter are all websites that people use every day, but
how did they get there and how were they created? Website design is a process of assorting and
linking codes and graphics into a text editor such as notepad and then displaying it onto a web
browser. There is a large amount of things to remember for website design. Ranging from HTML,
CSS, and XHTML codes to scripting languages like Java Script. Website design has a vast history
considering it is a fairly young profession. Website design uses complex codes to create web pages
in addition with programs aiding in the creation; when you join the two components together it is a
long complicated process that ends in purchasing a domain name for a...show more content...
Websites did not need to be big, elaborate, and flashy. They just needed to get the point across, and
that is exactly the purpose they served. In 1994 the World Wide WebConsortim or W3C was
established to oversee the development of web technology standards. The W3C designated
HTML as the primary code language for the future of website design to be based on. Of course
they have made advancements in the base design code such as HTML versions one, two, three,
four, and XHTML. The very first and current director of W3C is Tim Berners–Lee. Tim actually
invented the World Wide Web in 1991 and created the world's first website. He put the first
website online on August 6, 1991. The web address was http://info.cern.ch/. Unfortunately it no
longer exists in its original form. The W3C is still in charge of code techniques and development
guidelines that website development follows. Technology has advanced over the years in web
design. Website design is cut up into four generations. The first generation of web design was
very simple. It was basically just text, this was because early modems were very slow and plain
basic webpages would load much faster this way. The second generation was slightly more
advanced as the development of HTML became more complicated. The third generation of web
design is when website designers could add vibrant colors and animated images to their webpage.

Packaging:
Packaging can be understood in various definitions and provide many functions within itself. In
terms of marketers, it is the brand image, packaging represents the worth of the brand and how the
brand wants consumer to perceive their products. An attention seeker, stealing the fame on the shelf
full of competitors. Packaging also acts as protection for the product. Some are more protected if
they're fragile where as some may only be under a clear plastic wrap. High involvement products
conceivably need packaging that serves its value distinctively with information clearly stated, while
low involvement product could only need colourful imagery on the packet, a logo and a short
information of its usage. Not only...show more content...
Investment on packaging may be cheaper or as expensive in price with traditional mass media and
public relation, but the return is far more pleasant. Underwood et al., (2001) and Underwood (2003)
also mentioned another reason to why packaging as become so significant. There is an increase in
recognition that packaging can bring out point of differences and disparity of brand identity. There
are many factors marketers have to study upon in maximizing its ability to differentiate its brand
among the others for consumers to notice. Therefore, it is important to take in consideration how
consumers perceive a product when they stand in front of the shelf. The five senses, which are the
most important sense to focus on. Things like colours, do consumer take colours of packaging
differently when it comes to culture difference? Do consumer retrieve memory of product packaging
when its unplanned purchase or incidental purchase? Consumers with different level of involvement,
would they view packaging differently? The impact of packaging to consumer buying behavior lies

Standard of Customer Support
While you are comparing websites to buy accessories by Plantronics, be sure that you are opting
for an option which offers high quality customer support. You can check the standard of customer
support easily before you select the website. There are multiple ways to do this. For instance, you
can send a query through email and check the time span in which the response has been provided.
Other than that, check the standard of support provided. Has the email been replied in the time
frame committed? Has the query been entertained in the correct manner? Is the support team

have to wait for making the decision. Reputed websites have efficient support teams so that the
customers can be helped in timely manner.
Communicate about the time frame required to deliver
This is one of the key steps of buying accessories which would affect your decision. If you have
finalized 3 to 4 websites, hold a proper discussion with each of them regarding the time that would
be required to deliver the headset. Some websites have lengthy time spans for delivering. You
should check your urgency level and then compare it with the delivery time needed. If you do not
have a high level of urgency, you should ignore a website that requires a long span to deliver the
headset.
As a customer, you should check the steps taken by a particular website to deliver the accessory.
Ensure that the selected website takes the necessary protective steps to deliver the product. You
should also check whether the website is charging additional sums of money to deliver the product.
Before you go finalize the website, go through the terms and conditions given online.

4. Reflection About My Writing Course
At the end of this course, I feel that a lot has improved with my writing. When I first started this
course, I was struggling with a lot of writing mechanisms. One of the things was transition. I was just
writing without thinking of how to connect my thoughts. After completing numerous writing
assignments, I am fully confident with my ability to have a paper that flows. Another thing that I
struggled with was organization. Although I still have a lot of improvement to make, I think this
aspect of my writing has improved. One of the things that helped me immensely was creating an
outline before writing my paper. Another aspect of my writing that also improved has to do with
run–on sentences. I see a lot of changes in my writing and writing run–on

5. The Reason I Chose Alzheimer 's Disease
The reason I chose Alzheimer's disease (AD) as my Case Study is because it is very personal to me.
My Mother–in–law, Marcia, was diagnosed with beginning stages of AD 5 years ago. We believe she
went undiagnosed for a couple years before that. AD is a family disease that has a huge impact on
an entire family. A year ago we moved in with my in–laws to help care for not only Marcia, but my
father–in–law, Larry. Larry was Marcia's sole caregiver and we noticed over the last couple of years
taking care of her full–time was taking a huge toll on him and as family, we needed to be there to
help care for them both. The beginning stages of AD for Marcia included difficulty remembering
names of people, struggling to find words, confusion and depression. At 70 years old it was
difficult to determine if these were just signs of aging, or actually AD. That's when she went to
the Doctor and was diagnosed by the limited testing that is available as beginning stages of AD.
This stage was very difficult for Marcia as she was aware that she had AD, understood what that
meant and was terrified. Accepting the disease was extremely difficult for her as she struggled with
emotions of embarrassment, shame and depression. Over the past couple of years the disease has
progressed not only mentally, but physically. Simple tasks such as showering, dressing, doing her
hair, etc. is increasingly difficult as she gets confused very easily and becomes frustrated, weepy and
/or angry. She has

6. My Best Day Essay : My Perfect Day
Have you ever wondered what a perfect day would be like? An everyday routine starts to get
annoying and boring, especially if you don't get a day off. At the moment, my routine is to wake
up early, get ready for school, go to school, and after a long day come back home. From the time I
get home which is around two in the afternoon and by the time I go to sleep, it all consists of doing
homework. Sometimes I wish I can at least take a day off and relax, with having no worries. The
idea of a perfect day for me should be a day to get rid of stress, and should be an unforgettable day.

In the meantime, while I was waiting for my food to get here I went to the kitchen to wash the

eating my orange chicken with rice. By that time, I was already in the fourth movie, all of a
sudden it was really dark outside, but I was not scared at all, even though I was home alone. Now
it was around ten at night and I had finished watching the Halloween series. I turned my tv off and
started playing really loud music on my speaker. I knew it was nighttime and the neighbors might
complain, but at the moment I didn't care about anything. I enjoy listening to depressing songs
specially from Coldplay which gets me in the mood to cry. My eyes began to close so I turned my
speaker off as well as the light and I went to sleep. At last, a perfect day for me should be different
from any ordinary day, and should enjoy it like as if it was my last. I see a perfect day as not
something outstanding, but more of like a lazy day. This day was one of the best days I've ever had
because it's been forever since I've taken a break. Many people might do something like this on a
regular day, but for me it was one of the days where I got to stay in bed, relax, and let all of the stress
out. Days like this doesn't hurt and everyone has their own ideal day, but for me is all about being
comfortable. As long as, I have a day off

7. Descriptive Essay About The Sky
Life washes over those who expect it the least. One moment I was playing with the innocence of
time, then life came crashing in and destroyed everything. With water–soaked clothes and
tear–streaked cheeks, I returned home with the knowledge that life has no mercy. Life is not fair.
Only the sweet sting of reality to my beaten down ego was my companion.
Magnificent, heavenly light filters through the wispy clouds, signifying a new day. The thin clouds
slowly drift apart, presenting a beautiful sky beneath. Speaking out to me, the sky seems to know
every one of my thoughts, my dreams, my darkest fears. The sky is but a canvas of light, creating a
new picture within seconds. Weaving a story through the delicate clouds, the picture grows beyond
the expanse of sky. The colors splay before me, painfully beautiful and simple. Pink hues morph into
vibrant purples as they blend with the beautiful blues. The glittering stretch of sea shines before my
eyes. With every new wave, the light from above whispers promises of riches and sparkling
diamonds. The light breeze that kisses the sea sends the twinkling light back into the air above.
The ocean strokes land with calm and reassuring hands, lacing water with sand and lifting
seashells in its wake. My heart urges me forward, to walk among the peace, to capture the sweet
smell of sea salt. My brain reasons with the rest of my body. Turning sharply from the churning
water I force my feet to leave the warm imprint they have grown to love

My experience with my academic writing it comes from the past years in different classes, that I
have taken here in Texas Tech University. I have taken some couple classes in the science
department, a law class. In my law class I had to write an academic paper, explain the different
types a law that will apply in a wind energy industry. This academicwriting was done in the law
class, but that was different from English class. The writing in the science class was little bit like
the writing that was done in English 1301 at South Plains. My experience in the class was to
compare and summaries article that was chosen by the professor. In this class, it helps me to
improve my writing skills little bit more that my high school English. One of my weaknesses in
writing is my grammar, that I will go in depth by going to the writing center and other helpful
resources. In 1302 I will learn more in depth how to write a research paper, so that I can go more
in depth on my work and can use all the different sources on an essay paper. Me intend to build my
strength to get better on my grammar is to make sure that I read aloud for my research or
argument paper that will be writing for this semester. My goal for this class is to finish with a
good grade and learn a lot from the professor. Also, to make sure that I use all help that I get from
the class that I will be attending during this semester.

were carefully read and studied by the researchers to synthesized and relate different scholarly
articles, journals, and other reference material to the present study entitled Customers

concrete foundation to the research. Related Literature Customer and Service According to Okoli
(2007), customer is anyone who approached the provider to satisfy his/her needs while service is
the trade between provider and customer that has the responsibility to create or destroy the
organization. In line with service is quality, which depend on the result of the customers'
comparison between expectations about service and perceived performance (Islam, 2011).
Service is different from product, and it is classified into three service dimensions, such as:
intangibility, simultaneous delivery and customer participation (Ojo, 2011). For Proompow

important factors of the service quality form the word SERVICE. That is 'S' stands for
satisfaction, 'E' stands for expectation, 'R' is readiness, 'V' is value, 'I' is Interest, 'C' is courtesy
and 'E' is efficiency." Customer Service From the words customer and service, customer service

10. Essay on Advertising Through Social Media
In today's business world, social media is being discussed on a daily basis. This phenomenon has
taken over the marketing and advertising industries and has changed the way they handle their
efforts to attract customers. There is a big misunderstanding that social media are only popular
networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter, but as defined by the Merriam–Webster dictionary,
social media are "forms of electronic communication (as Web sites for social networking and micro
blogging) through which users create online communities to share information, ideas, personal

The combination of these social networking efforts resulted in approximately 2,000 Facebook
fans and 15,000 views on YouTube. Within a couple of weeks Toyota experienced an increase in
sales, especially in their Sienna model (Taylor, 258). Toyota is a clear example of a company
facing both a financial and reputation crisis that with the help of social media was able to regain
some of their lost sales as well as their trust amongst its costumers. Clearly social media can have a
direct impact on consumer purchasing patterns, and it has increased the amount of online shopping
for several companies. Authors Chung and Austria examine in their article Social Media
Gratification and Attitude towards Social Media marketing Messages, the effect that this
phenomenon has had on online shopping value: "According to the "2010 Social Media Report"
from ForeSee results, 69% of online shoppers use social media. Fifty–six percent of shoppers
indicate that they visit e–retail websites on a social networking site and that website visiting affects
consumer purchase intention" (?). Costumers find it convenient to visit a company's Website after
seeing an ad in any popular social networking site. It requires minimal effort form the customer and
it signifies an important portion of sales to a company. However, Social Media has not only had a
positive financial impact on a company, but as it rapidly grows it has now

11. Essay about How To Be A Good Employee
Being a good employee is essential in today's world, especially in these tough economic times
when there are many seeking work. Consequently, it is important to keep in mind that no
employee is irreplaceable. While hearing many complain these days about his or her job, one
just needs to look around and be thankful that they have the means in which to survive and are
able to work. There are many who are not only unemployed, but also unable to perform due to
illness or a disability. Sometimes when a person is feeling in a mood to complain, they may need to
sit back, relax and take a look around in order to appreciate what they have, and learn how to be a
good employee.

Staying to finish the job or at least reach a stopping point will not be that much of a delay. If it is
impossible to stay later, then you should plan your day more effectively
Do not call in sick unless you are, or take for granted that you can call in a vacation day
spontaneously. Vacations and personal time should be scheduled. When you are out, your job is
delegated to others, and having to take on unexpected responsibilities without being prepared can
affect production or productivity, as well cause stress and conflict among others.
Be that employee who, when someone asks you to do something, will feel confident that the job will
be done, and done right, without a doubt. Dependability goes a long way in the workforce, and
having the reputation of being the employee that everyone can count on is a compliment.
*Be respectful
This means to respect others as you would want them to respect you. If you ask someone for help
and they concur, do not steal the credit for their work. On the other hand, if what they helped you
with is unintentionally wrong, do not blame them or yell at them, as they were only trying to help
you out. Never cut someone else down in front of others, yell at them or point out their bad qualities.
Do not gossip, or fall in to the trap of one who does. Gossip can destroy a person and ruin their
career, and is something that is easy to fall in to.
*Use time wisely

13. The Importance Of Web Based Communication
The most fundamental method of human expression is communication through both verbal and
non–verbal means. As technology, has rapidly developed over the past two decades, and continues
to evolve at a staggering pace leading into the future, people have taken to the World Wide Web
(WWW) as an extension of basic communication capability. WWW communication allows people
to quickly reach out to one another throughout the course of a busy day. As a result of enhanced
communication capability, and a surge in use of communication over the WWW, areas of private
professional and public political life have seen substantial change in recent years. Positive Public
Attitude The daily routines of many individuals have only gotten more hectic in recent years,
despite the advantages of having increased technology. As such, it has become much more difficult
for the average worker to simply reach out with a phone call, or stop in for a face–to–face
conversation with other professionals. To assist the busy lives of individuals, web based
communication, through secure means, has become more prevalent. From communicating with a
utility company about an electric, water, or gas account, to seeking medical advice from a family
doctor, secure messaging systems are making their mark. A study of forty–three physicians was
conducted six months following the implementation of a secure messaging system called Patient
Gateway (PG) to quantify if using secure messaging produced positive results

clear that God doesn't give a damn about the rape victim. He is only concerned about the violation
of another mans "property". That last bit is the author of the webpage's opinion. ( I did a quick

The Process of Designing a Website To begin the process of designing a web site you should create a
paper prototype of five linked web pages.
Paper prototyping is a variation of usability testing where users perform realistic tasks by
interacting with a paper version instead of a computer. With this we can obtain feedback from the
user and then it be dealt with before creating a web page.
The think–aloud technique is concerned with the behaviour of an individual when performing a task.
We interviewed one user because we felt that if more users were to do the prototype, then
information will be discussed. We told the participants at any time they could leave if they felt

The user finds this very confusing due to the layouts of the buttons and the wording. As a result, they
had to start all over again and it irritated the user.
A "submit" button was required at the final page but this was not displayed. The last page had
mention that the order was completed. However, the feedback use from the think aloud technique
meant that by proceeding onto another page would make the payment more reliable and sufficient.
From using the think aloud technique to get feedback, we improve our design to be a much more
useful one. We put in drop down menus in appropriates places so the user would find this more
convenient. The colour scheme was also changed to differentiate our website from the rest and
create a better first impression on the user. We made our buttons clearer so the user can understand
it better and also position them in a viewable way. Therefore using this technique has made our
design more successful. (466 words)

20. My Writing Essay
My Writing
In the past four years, I have written many papers for various classes, enjoying some and others

keeping all the necessary information about each book or magazine. That course taught me to
become a better writer and to respect how much detail really goes into a research paper like I had
written. Other than that, I have not really had much experience in
