3. That’s right! Transdisciplinary Skills!

4. What are Transdisciplinary Skills, you ask?

5. Skills are things that you learn to do well and that will help you get a job done.

6. Transdisciplinary means that you can use the skills in almost anything you do at school and even outside of school

7. Balancing on top of a ball is a skill, but is it a skill that you can use most of the time?

8. Playing the violin is a skill, but is it a skill that you can use most of the time?

9. Let’s think of some skills that we can use most of the time, whether we are in Math, Art, P.E. or languageclasses,

10. Or even when we aren’t at school.

11. One of those skills is: Communication

12. Communicating means Sharing your answers & ideas through Reading Writing Listening Speaking

13. Another one of those skills is: Critical Thinking & Problem Solving

14. Critical Thinking & Problem Solving means how you tackle problems if some of your learning is hard to figure out. You can do this by: asking questions, listening to others and being creative with ideas that could help solve your problems

15. Another is: Connection & Collaboration

16. Connection & Collaboration means: Being cooperative with a group or partner, Discussing ideas, Respecting the ideas of others and Making decisions together

17. How about: Personal Management & Reflection

18. Personal Management & Reflection means: setting goals working towards goals reflecting on goals beingorganized and trying to improve

19. And the last one is: Research

20. Research means Figuring out what your question or problem is, Searching for information Reading and understanding the information and sharing it with others

21. So, ask yourself: “How good am I at reading, writing, listening and speaking?”

24. and “How could I get better at critical thinking & problem solving?
