Goals: My central goals are to provoke more learning for more students, and to deepen my understanding of learning, teaching, cross-cultural communication and co-creation of knowledge. As a teaching consultant, I follow Myles Horton's two-eyed approach to education and social change: engaging with others in order to understand where we are and to begin moving to where we need to be.
Experience: Thirty years of interdisciplinary teaching at a range of colleges/universities combined with twenty years of creating professional development programs for graduate students, post-doctoral fellows and faculty. Consistently high evaluations from students and colleagues.
