What is your student status—traditional or returning, full- or part-time?
-Traditional, full-time student.
How long are you planning to be in your current college? Is it likely that you will
transfer?
-Two years. Yes I’m going to transfer to a university.
What goal, or goals, do you aim to achieve by going to college?
-Staying focus and keeping in mind the main reason why I’m determine to become a
surgeon.
What family and work obligations do you have?
-I have a full time job and I am a full time parent of a two year old little girl.
What is your culture, ethnicity, gender, age, lifestyle?
-Jamaican, Bahamian, Cherokee Indian, Christian, female, 23, always busy.
What is your current living situation?
I have my own apartment and car.
What do you feel are your biggest challenges in college?-Staying focus and not giving
up on my dreams no matter how hard it gets.

2. What do you like to study, and why does it interest you?
-Physician Assistant because I want to become an Orthopedic Spine Surgeon.It’s the
most difficult field in medicine and not many women practice in this particular field.
