• Our education strategy has to be up-to-date, accessible and global
• As CILT globally, we are now into action and implementation - of
which Continuing Professional Development is a key element
• We need to embrace the concept of CPD and its benefits
• We need to provide a practical toolkit to help Branches and
Territories move this agenda forward
• We want to use CPD opportunities to grow our membership
• And we want to actively partner to deliver customized, industry
relevant CPD programmes

The Digital Revolution
• In the UK more than 10m jobs will either
disappear of radically change in the next 10
years
• There are more than 100m people in the
Logistics industry in India. Most of them with
little or no education
• Automation and Artificial Intelligence will
transform Logistics and Transport
• What ever knowledge we have today, it wont be
enough to help us do our jobs in 10 years
