28. New Globe' Company members of the Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London assemble for a group picture on the newly completed stage. The theater is a thoroughly researched reproduction of the original 16th Century structure which stood on the same site. She was called the Virgin Queen because she never married, although Sir Walter Raleigh was one of her boyfriends (he’s the one who put his cloak over the mudpuddle so her shoes wouldn’t get soiled). She was also ruthless in her love. Sir Walter married secretly so he wouldn’t lose court favor. Two stories here: Political story: he was plotting to overthrow her gov’t, so she had him beheaded. Love story: she found out about his marriage, and had the plotting story concocted to justify her jealousy.
