A young professional in his thirties, Dr Sinha, with a dream and ambition, came from India to GGU to pursue a Doctorate program in Business Administration. Prior to that he was working for 13 years at Indian Oil Corporation, India's TOP # 1 company worth $70 billion in revenue. Early years at GGU were very humbling. He started working at University library, waiting tables in a Restaurant, driving Yellow Cab in San Francisco- to get a foot into the door. Within 6-8 months in San Francisco, he got a teaching job as a doctorate student. He being an intelligent and smart student, he got a scholarship for becoming the President of Student Government Association (SGA )- ), he also created a Student Group- IndiClub- which is still in existence for more than 10 years. Upon graduation, Dr Sinha joined the Alumni Board of Directors and continued for several years. Now he is a successful business owner and he has been a Silver/Gold donor to the University and 'giving it back' to the University and the community. He continued teaching at GGU till recently for almost 6-7 years. GGU has been his client and he helped the University decide their online education portal IT policy in 2012.
Recently, GGU invited Dr Sinha, a successful entrepreneur , to give a presentation and talk to the students. GGU has an Entrepreneurship Center under its Ageno Business School that offers a Small Business Program funded by Chevron. This program invites successful entrepreneurs to talk to the students and offer their knowledge to the benefit of members. His presentation is attached here for everyone’s benefit.
