1. Reflections on death
Death can be described as the end of ability to perform a set of processes that is
responsible for existence of all entities comprising flora and fauna or simply as the end
of any natural stand-alone entity existence. However, many people think there is
something mystical, magical or mysterious in it.
Most people panic over possibility death put a permanent end to its existence. This
feeling makes them vulnerable to preposterous stories and explanations whose
primary objective is to add followers. However, there are many other people who
prefer to face their feelings to accept this kind of stories and explanations. These
groups had always very difficult relations, because almost all of them try to impose
their beliefs and values one another. Often even death is used for this. The great irony
is: the fear of death maybe is its best agent.
The followers of the preposterous stories and explanations believe that not everything
that exists is logical. However, this is a big lie, because it is empirical that existence of
absolutely all is due exclusively to the laws of nature. The Big Bang Theory is an
example of preposterous explanation, for it is unacceptable that scientists try to
explain how the universe came about without before explaining how the laws of
nature supporting it have emerged. They forget that sciences and their theories
require these laws in order to exist. The division of man into matter and spirit is
another example of preposterous explanation, because it simply purges all animals and
headless organisms. In other words, they treat all of them as inanimate. This latter
explanation commits a sin even greater, since it establishes the material and
immaterial worlds without any evidence or show how both are unified. This is evidence
that the primary concern of this explanation is assuaging the fear of death without any
commitment to the truth.
The main reasons that lead most people think that matter and spirit are separate
entities are: People are unable to understand how their feelings and capabilities relate
to their bodies' matter; People perceive nature in action, but they do not know exactly
what it is neither where they could find it. However, these reasons do not constitute
any evidence that matter and spirit are separate entities only demonstrate our inability
to understand nature and natural reality.
The emotional imbalance caused by fear of death can cause more harm than death
itself. It can affect quality of life of any person, family, society and even humanity. This
power is due to it because it has ability to promote the mystification and interfere with
acquisition of new knowledge that could leverage the personal and social
development. In other words, fear of death can affect reason and generate endless
ideological conflicts of immeasurable consequences. Human beings should learn to
better cope with their feelings instead of running away from their insecurities through
preposterous stories and explanations, because side effects of this medicine ranging
from mediocrity to death.
2. There is no doubt that death is an inevitable end that is essential for the renewal and
evolution of life. However, death may also be conceptualized in another way which is
somewhat more accurate than this. This concept is supported by an unprecedented
view of reality that does not incur on the inconsistencies previously exposed. This new
view shows what the single immaterial thing is able to materialize itself as basis for
absolutely everything. This revelation is made step by step and never contradicts logic.
This view took so long to appear because it was very hard and time consuming to
conceive it. “The task is not so much to see what no one yet has seen, but to think
what nobody yet has thought about that which everyone sees.” (Arthur
Schopenhauer) If you want to learn more about this vision read the following articles:
