Hilt Tatum IV, president and CEO of iPoint Capital
Partners, oversees the private equity firm in its pursuit of
investments in several nations. Hilt Tatum IV is also the
CEO of Panama-based Impact Housing Corporation, a
company dedicated to constructing affordable homes in
the Central American country.
The Solidarity Housing Fund of the government of
Panama offers a 20% subsidy and an advantageous loan
rate on properties valued at $50,000 or less. Impact
Housing Corporation is a real estate development
company that is currently concentrating on building
homes that will be eligible for this program. The
company's project includes developing several
inexpensive housing complexes with the intention of
having a good social impact on Panama. They plan to
invest more than $250 million over the following ten years
in three housing developments.
The Los Sueños De Soná, located in Sona, Veraguas, will
encompass 100 hectares of residential and commercial
space. The project, which includes over 300 homes, is
currently sold out. The Los Sueños De Santiago, located
on 77 hectares in Santiago, Veraguas, is the second
project. The homes built on this site will go for prices
starting at $61,500 for the sapphire model and $70,000
for the diamond model. The third project is the La
Reserva de Santiago which has lots of 300 square meters
selling for $92,500 and above.
