7. Changes in Methods - Analysis
• IMPACT is an old product of Broadridge and to enhance the
system, company uses waterfall method to implement the
solution phase by phase.
• However, ClearancePro is a new product which will substitute
the older product (IMPACT), for which the management has
chosen to apply agile method for implementation of the
solution.
• In the agile method, the development team gets the high level
requirements from the Business Analyst. The risk in this method
is the changes in the requirements.
• As the product is at the nascent stage, the requirements are not
clear due to which the development team has to make frequent
changes in the code and the repercussions is also seen on the
testing team.
• Broadridge is trying various methods to get adapted to this new
change and build the product as soon as possible.
