Man Dies and 5 others ill after event at The Warehouse Project
28th Sept 2013
Recently at The Warehouse Project Manchester there has been a number
of incidents involving, what police have described as a “bad batch of
drugs”. The WHP Manchester has witnessed the full dangers of drug use
when Officers were called to Manchester Royal Infirmary in the early
hours of the morning following the death of the 30-year-old male who had
taken drugs on the premises.
Following this incident The WHP have implicated a number of safety
precautions to try and prevent any further incidents.
Manager Jack Dixon from the Warehouse Project stated;
“Huge air conditioning systems have been installed to each room in the
club to stop clubbers from over-heating. Also a pill testing station has
been set up to enable people to test what is actually in their pills to
ensure is it not PMA. Another way WHP has responded to the incident is
by increasing security with a zero tolerance on any drugs being taken into
the WHP.”
Hopefully we have seen the end of the problems at the WHP. Ben Holmes
