Munich 25th April 2008 B&W Group Presentation Two views of the speaker on its wall bracket bracket – left & right. This is to emphasise that the bracket is not symmetrical (the 2 bumps are different heights. The reason why will become clear with the XTC. The speaker will only swivel in the direction of the smaller bump in the bracket. To swivel the other way you turn the bracket the other way up. The wavy bit is the only part that you turn upside down. The plate you screw into the wall remains the same way up, but users are warned that it is not on the centre line of the speaker. The wall bracket is supplied with speaker and there is a mounting template.

The rear section of the stand's pillar houses the cable, which goes straight into a hole in the base of the speaker through to the terminals. It does not have to loop out at the top of the stand. The front section of the extruded pillar may be filled with sand if desired.

Note that this bracket always slides on to the wall plate from the top, so is always secure in all orientations of the speaker.
