3. Who is this lady?
I am Alexis Curtis and you all can call me Ms.
Alexis or Ms. Curtis.
I will not answer to Alexis unless there is a Miss
in front of it.
I have a degree in history from USM. This is my
passion and I will not tolerate disrespect of
history, your classmates, or myself.
4. What will we cover?
This class will cover pre-history to the
renaissance era. We will learn more about this
as the year progresses. If you don’t what this is
DON’T WORRY ABOUT IT!!
5. Rules
Some are meant to be broken but these are
NOT!
1. Listen and follow directions
2. Raise your hand before speaking and leaving
your seat.
3. Keep your hands, feet, and all objects to
yourself.
4. Respect your classmates and your teacher.
5. If you don’t want someone to do it you then
DON’T do it to anyone else.

Enter quietly and politely
Remove your hat or hood
Sit in your assigned seat and start your bell work
7. Procedure for turning in
assignments
MAKE SURE YOUR NAME IS ON THE PAPER
NO NAME = NO GRADE NO EXCEPTIONS
Place your homework into the basket as soon as
you enter the classroom. This should be done
before you start on your bell work
8. Expectations
I expect all of my rules and procedures to be
followed. If they are not followed there will be
consequences. Those consequences are
outlined in your student handbook.
