This document discusses how information and communication technologies (ICT) can help improve the lives of children with various diseases and disabilities. It briefly describes several conditions such as Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Autism, Hyperactivity, Hearing Impairment, Visual Impairment, and Intellectual Giftedness. It then provides examples of how ICT tools such as computers, software, and electronic communication aids can be used to support children with communication difficulties, motivate learning, and help them access a wider range of materials.
