Thirsty, Angry, Tired, Sad.
Accompany the flash cards
with the movements an
actions for each feeling.
Feelings Interaction
Game: Give each of the
children a flash card and
have them portray the
feeling on that particular
flash card. Then talk to
their neighbour and ask
“how do you feel today?”
Days of the Week: using
the days of the week
flashcards and our fingers,
g o through the days of
the week chanting as you
go , then add in “..7
days…” and “..in a week..”
Sing and Dance: using the
days of the week
flashcards and our fingers,
play the ‘7 Days’ song, sing
along with the track while
doing the actions. Making
sure that each child is
taking part and looking at
the flash cards.
TPR: The “I can touch my
ears…..” Rhythm game.
Using tambourines to
establish a beat we then
say the words and do the
actions to the beat. Will
do this sitting down and
then standing up.

your shoes.” (children) “I am lining up and putting on my
