GRAMMAR SPOT Simple Past The verbs in Simple Present can have a Regular form ( –ed) or Irregular form. We use Simple Past for something in the past which is finished. DID Did you study math yesterday? Yes, I did. No, I didn’t. Yes, I  studied  math yesterday. No, I  didn’t study  math yesterday.   DID Did she take the bus to school last Monday? Yes, she did. No, she didn’t. Yes, she  took  the bus to school last Monday. No, she  didn’t take  the bus to school last Monday.
