5. Biography of Sonnet Mondal
As an Indian English poet Sonnet has come up as an emerging voice in
the International arena ofpoetry and literature during the past two years
with 13 International avards and five national Govemment recognitions.
His first book "A Poetic Peep Into The Post Modern World" has been
published by The Underground'Literature Kolkata Publications in 200i..
Sonnet is the Founder and Managing Editor of "The Enchanting
Verses International Journal" (ISSN-0974-3057). He is also the Founder
and Secretary General of the "United Minds for Peace Society (A Global
Peace Organization-Head office-India) and thc Sub-Secretary (ieneral of
Poetas Del Mundo (International Poct's of the World Movement-Head-
