Measures of Central Tendency: Mean, Median and Mode
Study Days at the Tower of London and the Old Royal Naval College
1. Study day for AS/A2 students
World Heritage Archaeology
2. Historic Royal Palaces Tower of London
has teamed up with the Old Royal Naval
College in Greenwich to offer a joint
study day for A-level Archaeology
students. Students will be inspired as
they go behind the scenes and explore
methods of practical archaeology. Using
two World Heritage Sites, the study day
contrasts evidence from both exising
buildings and those no longer standing.
This is an exciting opportunity to
experience archaeology in-situ, discuss
how findings are recorded, interpreted,
and how we manage contemporary
issues in a World Heritage Site.

‘Very good - directed towards the AS
with practical elements of conservation
and surveying (fieldwork). Linked well
to the A2 coursework with collating,
recording primary evidence.’
Teacher, Brockenhurst College
‘It helped me understand how sites are
recorded, and how sites are protected.’
