  1. Introduce Social Media as an inexpensive quick way to advertise. Let NT know about these three great internet companies to start.
  2. Explain how word of mouth is key. Of corporate respondents 55% already using blogs, 63% already using video sharing services (“Social Media and the Corporate Communicator”. melcrum.com. Melcrum. N.d. Web. Sept.4, 2011.).
  3. Here we can get an idea how well certain social sites will do. We can see Twitter Youtube and Digg are good all across the board (“The 2011 CMO’s Guide To The Social Landscape”. cmo.com. CMO.COM. March 10, 2011. Web. Sept 4, 2011.). Open pdf if needed to better explain each site.
  4. Explain how quickly the advertising becomes available and how most social media sites are free to login.
  5. Make sure NT understands this is how to keep up with the latest trends of advertising.
  6. The outcome of credibility in real time if the key factor here. Advertising is more credible when recent and up to date. With social media we have a chance to dispute any bias or untruthful events in real time. Social media is the wave of the future and more and more applications are springing up at a fast rate. Also seen within the advertising of virtually all electronic items ie: Cell Phones and Computers.
