Do you ever feel like a plastic bag You just gotta ignite the light and let it shine
Drifting through the wind, wanting to start again? Just own the night like the 4th of July
Do you ever feel, feel so paper thin
Like a house of cards, one blow from caving in? 'Cause baby you're a firework
Come on, show 'em what you're worth
Do you ever feel already buried deep? Make 'em go, oh
Six feet under screams but no one seems to hear a thing As you shoot across the sky
Do you know that there's still a chance for you
'Cause there's a spark in you? Baby, you're a firework
Come on, let your colors burst
You just gotta ignite the light and let it shine Make 'em go, oh
Just own the night like the 4th of July You're gonna leave 'em falling down
'Cause baby, you're a firework Boom, boom, boom
Come on, show 'em what you're worth Even brighter than the moon, moon, moon
Make 'em go, oh It's always been inside of you, you, you
As you shoot across the sky And now it's time to let it through
'Cause baby you're a firework
Baby, you're a firework Come on, show 'em what you're worth
Come on, let your colors burst Make 'em go, oh
Make 'em go, oh As you shoot across the sky
You're gonna leave 'em falling down
Baby, you're a firework
You don't have to feel like a waste of space Come on, let your colors burst
You're original, cannot be replaced Make 'em go, oh
If you only knew what the future holds You're gonna leave 'em falling down
After a hurricane comes a rainbow
Boom, boom, boom
Maybe you're reason why all the doors are closed Even brighter than the moon, moon, moon
So you could open one that leads you to the perfect road Boom, boom, boom
Like a lightning bolt, your heart will blow Even brighter than the moon, moon, moon
And when it's time, you'll know

17. Why is it useful to use
PERSONification in
writing?
We identify more closely
with an object or idea
when it is endowed with
human characteristics,
making it useful for
expressing thoughts and
feelings
Notas do Editor
Life is a journey The world is a stage
Time is a thief
Using personification enhances a description, as it makes the non-living subject come to life, thus exciting readers.
