The aim of the brochure was to inform the tourists about the best places to visit Newcastle upon Tyne.
I included information about Nightlife, Shopping, Entertainment and Food, which I included with
useful information. I am not allowed to use the font style Arial and Times New Roman. Also, the other
decisions, which were made will be specified whilst I am discussing the pages.
After the initial client meeting and subsequent meetings for designs I began work on the CRC of the
document.
I will evaluate the layout and content of my brochure against the client brief and the questionnaire,
which I gave the client to answer. The page layout for each page is A4. At first I divided the pages into
three section, this made it more appealing and stand out. This is through including images,
information and designing the page. The purpose of this is because I wanted to ensure the information
and the sizes of the images fills the page. This is because I wanted to make it more different and
appealing, which is significant. The information is placed in a rectangular or square box and it fits the
whole A4 page. The purpose of this was to make it stand out, which would encourage the reader s to
carry on reading the brochure. The point size of the texts varies this depends if it is the subheading,

Abstract: Metabolism is used to refer to all of the chemical reactions involving energy transformations
in the cell of the body, for example cellular activity such as cellular respiration and its sub activtys like
glycolysis, Krebs Cycle and the Electron Transport Chain all produce energy in the form of ATP and a
byproduct of the energy production, heat is also produced . Although the cell is not 100% efficient
thermodynamically, the energy in the form of heat is lost in the cell each time when energy is
produced. Metabolic rates of an organism can be measured directly by the amount of heat lost from
the body in a certain period of time. Another way an organisms metabolic rate can be measured is
indirectly, by measuring the amount of oxygen that is consumed in a given period of time. In the
experiment conducted, we needed to find the metabolic rate of an ectotherm. Using a goldfish
(ectotherm) we calculated the metabolic rate by means of counting the number of operculum beats
when three different goldfish where submerged in various temperatures. What was found is that the
metabolic rate increased when the temperature increased and the metabolic rate decreased as
temperature dropped.

My choice of the movie 12 Years a Slave is an outstanding depiction of the lives of slaves in the 1840
s. This film follows the gruesome life of Solomon Northup. A black man born free in Saratoga, New
York. Who was fooled, poisoned, and abducted by men who sold him into slavery. The movie is based
on the book called Twelve Years a Slave: Narrative of Solomon Northup, a Citizen of New York,
Kidnapped in Washington City in 1841, and Rescued in 1853, From a Cotton Plantation Near the Red
River, in Louisiana.
The accuracy of the film was spot on. It depicted all the horrors and history of slavery very well. In
fact Dr. Emily West, an associate professor of history at the University of Reading supports my
statement when she states I have never seen a film represent slavery so accurately. It portrayed the
difference of the masters by showing how one was kind to Northup and how the other was a Nigger

Everybody loves a good story, but what is it that makes a story good ? For the Host in The Canterbury
Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer there are two requirements to truly tell a worthwhile story. That is to say
