antagonist beholds these particular characteristics which typically leads to the conflict. In the epic

Raj Patel s Stuffed and Starved analyzes the paradoxical content in its title statement. Patel
demonstrates how the world food system has created two opposite, but inherently linked epidemics:

brought famine back to Asia, but provided cheap food for its factory workers and suppressed rebellion

Foreign adaption and assimilation is a difficult process for American corporations to achieve,
worldwide, but a steady flow of consistent brand image and a unification of appeals allow for the
