Nobel Peace Prize What would you do if your entire nation is being ravaged by a disease that you
don t know how to treat? That s where The Carter Center stepped in to aid struggling families in
Africa. Led by former president Jimmy Carter and his wife, they were able to bring cures to
villages that have none. Some people may say that the Carters just want to gain media attention
but I will prove that is not the case. The purpose of this essay is to show why I believe the Carter
Center should be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
