7. DIVISION DUOS (SAAS MENTORING PROGRAM)
• Goal is to provide mentorship opportunities
to SAAS full-time employees.
• Interested participants will be able to indicate if they
would like to serve as a mentor and/or mentee.
• As well share their goals and preferences to be
considered in the matching process.
• Once matches have been revealed, we expect that
each pair meets at least monthly & face-to-
face (whether that be virtual or in person is up to you).
• These meetings are a chance to learn from each other,
expand your network, and learn more about the
Division, as well as the University.
• Discussion questions and themes will be shared to help guide
your conversations.

• Optional Objective – 5%: Plays an active role in supporting the
Department of Student Life culture through a commitment to learning,
advocating and leading diversity, equity and inclusion efforts in his/her
role.
• Success Criteria - Identify PD opportunities with DEI focus, attend DEI
training/workshops and encourage your staff to attend, apply learning to
their role and takes action to support Student Life, team and individual
goals associated with DEI. Dedicate time each week to thinking about the
culture of department, unit, and your ongoing role to positively impact.
