1. This is an example of an establishing shot. I would like to
include a few establishing shots in my opening to set the
scene and let the viewers get to know the where the
characters are. I also like the idea of being able to see a
lot of the sky. I would like to incorporate this into my
opening, possible with a time-lapse for the effect of ‘time
waits for nobody’.
This is another shot I would like to incorporate into my
opening. This type of shot shows average people getting
on with their daily busy life. This would have to be shot in
a place that is fairly always busy over a period of time.
I would like to include a silhouette shot in opening. This
will contribute to the suspense of not knowing or being
able to see the murderer properly. I would do this by
taking a shot with high levels of light in the background
and not much light from in front. This could be possible
by the use of actual lights, as background lights, being
put behind the character.
