A simple 17 page visual guide to embedding a PowerPoint Presentation into the website blogger.com using the uploading and embedding tool slideshare.net.

1. 1. Enter www.slideshare.net into your browser. 2. At the top of the main page, click-on
Upload
in the teal coloring. 3. Click-on
Browse and select files...
in the orange box. 4. Select the PP Presentation file to be uploaded and select
Open.
5. Do some waiting while the file uploads... 6. Once the download is complete, you can adjust the title of the show and provide a brief description that others can see when they select your PP. All other settings on this page should be left alone. However, ensure that the
Privacy
dropdown menu reads
Everyone
so that it is shared with, well, everyone. 7. Select
Publish All
in the grey box to do just that. 8. Now, you must wait while slideshare.net does some formatting. Surf the web (IN A NEW TAB) or something for a few minutes. After a few minutes, click-on the “here” hyperlink. 9. A new window should have opened that looks like the one below. Click-on the title of your PP Presentation in hyperlinked blue color. 10. Notice the “Blogger” link just below the PP. Click-on it. 11. Enter your user information that you use to login to the Blogger website. 12. Yes, you want to “Grant access.” 13. Fill in the blanks with what you want it to read when you post it. Do not change the “Post to” dialogue box. This is prefilled with your blog itself. Then, go ahead and “Blog this!” 14. This should be the happy screen telling you, “You did it.” 15. Click-on “close,” open a new tab, and go to the Blogger website. 16. You should already be logged in, if not, do that now. Otherwise, you should see the screen below. Click-on the hyperlink “View Blog.” 17. And there you have it! All done!
