in the Westernmost Region of Russia

Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University (Kaliningrad, Russia) announces a
call for participation for the Intensive Summer Course of the Russian Language!
Course terms: June 6 – August 5, 2016.
Course aim: mastering of the everyday Russian language, deep immersion into
the Russian culture and acquaintance with the higher education system in
Russia.
Course programme is adjustable to the background knowledge of participants
and includes:
 Pronunciation Enhancement;
 Grammar and Vocabulary Advancement;
 Communication Skills Development.
Classes cover most vital communication situations and give a deep insight into
the life in Russia.
After classes you will be able to compare the historical heritage and modern
features of Kaliningrad, enjoy the trip to one of the resort cities on the beautiful
Baltic Seashore, as well as have a glimpse of all university study buildings, sport
facilities and research institutes.

2. Upon the course completion you will have an opportunity to take a test in the
Russian language and (if you pass it successfully) obtain an internationally
recognized certificate (optional). You will also be able to apply for studies at the
Preparatory Department – a preliminary step towards your full-time studies at
Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University.
The course fee amounts to 49 900 RUR and covers the following:
 2-months course of the Russian language (240 academic hours: 3
classes per day – 80 minutes each);
 Study materials;
 Accommodation at the brand-new University dormitory for
international students (a place in a room for two: a kitchen and a
bathroom are foreseen for each room);
 Issue of a visa invitation and registration in Kaliningrad;
 Excursions round the University, city of Kaliningrad and the
Kaliningrad region;
 Buddy assistance.
