to Ducks Unlimited.
Recently, Ducks Unlimited (DU), an organization committed to the
conservation of waterfowl and wetlands around the world, announced that it
will offer over 61 one-time scholarships to its members who are graduating
high school seniors in 2018.These scholarships will consist of 50 varsity
scholarships for $500 each, 10 conservation scholarships for $1,000 each, and
one national scholarship of $10,000.
To apply for one of these scholarships, graduating high school seniors must
complete an online application and provide DU with their high school
transcript, DU volunteer or member history, and a list of academic or service
awards they have received. In addition to this, applicants must write a 300-
word essay about how their most memorable outdoor experiences affected
their views of conservation. All scholarships are funded through the
organization’sYouth and Education Endowment.
