13. What are the benefits of “Concept Mapping”? Cont’d Creating concept maps are beneficial to teachers and students alike. It helps teachers simplify the learning material so that the students obtains the information affectively. It helps students get accustom to technology while learning and create concept maps (hands on and visual stimulation).

14. Concept Mapping Integration One way I would incorporate concept mapping in my class room is through presenting a lesson. I would provide a handout with a layout of the information in the form of a concept map. I believe that this is a very effective way to present new information to my students.

15. Concept Mapping Integration Cont’d I would also incorporate concept map into my class room for student assessment and assignment. As far as assignments, I could give my students an single/group assignment to create a concept map on related material. As far as assessments, I could also test my students on materials by instructing them to apply the correct answer in the correct place on a blank concept map diagram.

16. What does the future hold for “ Concept Mapping”? Rebecca Fiedler addressed some interesting issues in regards the research on concept maps. Inspiration software provides a lot of useful concept mapping application that makes the future of concept mapping very promising. Concept mapping my be the future of how information in being relayed in the class room and in everyday tasks.
